Besides using youtube tutorials, these books are my only resources i use. After taking a class requiring a book from this series, I was so impressed with the layout, and easy to follow format, that I purchased this book to study other programs from Adobe. This particular book came with a set of CD-ROM's which has all the files to work along as you read through the book.

The style of the writing is you read a bit, perform the operations through a step by step, then at the end of the chapter, do a skills review, and other real-world problem solving. I know I plan on purchasing the entire series of books. The book itself arrived earlier than anticipated, wrapped in plastic for protection and included a 3 CD set filled with all the files required for working through the projects. Had to order this book for a college class I took.

Very detailed book and the pics were helpful. Didn't use it too much but it was good and useful. This series came with the exercise files on 3 cd's.

No reason to find and download them. Book is easy to follow along with too. Low price, no CD's. It is designed to be used with the CD. Book is great but be careful who you get it from. When I got it "new" the cd was disintegrated from water and heat damage.

This video was helpful from a beginners stand point. Learned several things I had no idea the camera could do. I go to baker college of flint and this book was needed. I was excited to jump into this book. Following the instructions of the projects I quickly found out that you dont get new projects from the cs5 version or the cs6 version all the same The instructions are very poorly written for simple tutorials.

I found myself having to read the same steps over and over to get a step to work Frankly, I was stunned at how quickly I became comfortable with the software. Another reviewer referred to the instructor's "heavy accent," which I believe is unfair. As an American, I have had no problems with the instructor's accent; in fact, I was pleasantly surprised that this instructor can speak for as long as he does without reverting to verbal crutches like "ummm" and "uhhh.

He knows this topic inside and out. Do not hesitate making this purchase. Having been a professional Avid editor the past 10 years, I discovered that the latest version of Adobe Premiere CS6 was an incredibly improved edit program with a lot friendlier friendlier to editors interface.

This video course when combined with Adobe Classroom in a book will get you up and running in less than a week which is the time I had to transition from Avid MC6. Perfect balance of instruction for those starting off on CS6. I have viewed My first learning Adobe Premiere Pro.

I have viewed only a few lesson, and I find the tutorial very helpful. I look forward to continue learning from it and get the most of it. Sometimes I find the instruction a bit fast, so I have to review them more often, such is life, you learn it till you get it. Worth the effort. These tutorial clearly show Mr.
